Public collection drives helps communities divert obsolete electronics, fluorescent lamps and devices from landfills. Typically, a public collection drive may last from one to three days. A dedicated 3 to 4-men crew is then assigned for the duration of the event with vehicle, handling and packing equipment. Such an event is planed, organized and performed under the management and active participation of the institution or corporation hosting it.
