Lamps and Batteries Recycling

Hazardous waste lamps are part of the universal waste regulated under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). Regulating lamps as a universal waste under 40 CFR Part 273 provides better management and facilitate compliance with RCRA hazardous waste requirement. A Certificate of Recycling, together with a line item Manifest, is issued for each load for generator EPA record.

Industrial and consumer batteries, as well as lamps ballasts and capacitors large and small, PCB or non-PCB bearing are commonly recycled in our EPA industrial process. Also part of the RCRA hazardous waste requirement, specific disposal track record need be kept by generators for such waste disposal record.
